// It's been been a massively long time since I've updated all of you. I'm sorry about that, but life has been really eventful over the past few months, and logging into to an FTP server just didn't make it to the top of my "to do" list.
For those that are interested, here's a quick breakdown of the last 17 months: I accepted a job as full-time worship leader; I moved to Indiana; I proposed to Ginny; I bought a house; I lost that job because of an "x-factor"; I got married; I was unemployed for 6 months; I sold a house; I accepted a new and better job as Youth Director at Westminster Presbyterian; Ginny went to the emergency room 7+ times in two months; two of our computers died in two weeks; and our son, Jeremiah Gabriel, was born into heaven on January 27th, 2006.
There's even more that happened, which makes "eventful" seem too insignficant of an adjective. Through all of the joys and trials, however, God was with us -- even despite our failures, doubts, and insufficiencies.
Over the months, we received an incredible amount of support from our family, local church, and even some strangers. We received cards, financial assistance, prayers... and just yesterday, DuPage Hospital shredded one of our bills for $1700. The list could go on for pages.
To support our family and the ministries we're involved with (TheRockProject.com and Cymbolic), please continue to lift us up in prayer. If you want to support the ministry even further, consider picking up a CD. Not only would that be awesome, but the proceeds will help us cover some of the medical costs over the last few months.

last night! I consider you all friends, and I appreciate your support.
Ya'll seemed to enjoy the new synth sound of Cymbolic, so look forward
to more of that in the future. This was 'experimental' in a way-- using
sampled loops and recorded harmonies-- but the new sound keeps getting
better and better. (Though, my opinion is biased, of course.)
Now, it is your duty, your obligation, your calling to brag about the concert
to all of your friends. They missed out on a great time, and I officially
give you permission to rub it in their face. Go. Boast. And be merry.

// It's been a while! The band has secured a regular
gig every week at Alive365, so some of our touring has been cut down. We
miss being on the road, but leading worship every week has been incredible.
We're experimenting with a new synth-rock sound, and so far, we think we're
on to something big. Make sure to check us out sometime at www.alive365.com.
We've also got a gig coming up on 12-7 at The Living Room in Muncie, so
all who are close, make sure to stop by. I'll be playing solo, but we'll
have a great time with some original Christmas tunes. It'll be a blast.

Work has just begun on our 3rd CD, so look for that soon! The new songs
seem quite promising, so it's certainly something you'll want to check
